A stunning antique French empire style dining table, with a stunning gilt metal base and faux marble top. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1950’s.

The quality is superb, the top is made from some type of coated laminate, it is very heavy and looks just like marble. There is beautiful colouring and a geometric patterned border. The base is also beautifully constructed, it is also very heavy and has a gorgeous design, with splayed legs and bold hairy paw feet.

This is in great condition, with only some extremely minor wear here and there. The top has one extremely small and shallow chip on the outer edge, barely noticeable at all and seen in the close up images.
