This is an antique demi-lune tea table. An English, mahogany fold over hall or console table, dating to the mid Georgian period, circa 1750.

Delightful demi-lune table, with an articulated top
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout
Rich caramel hues beam beneath a quality wax polish finish

Superb demi-lune form, with a pair of articulated leaves
Front leaf raises to present a useful storage compartment
Rear leaf can be raised as a back rest for situating along a wall

Folding out into a full circular form, the second leaf supported upon a flying leg
Dressed to the deep drum apron with an inset brass lock escutcheon — key absent
Elegant, slender cabriole legs terminate in hoof form pad feet

This is a striking antique demi-lune tea table, with a fascinating dual articulated top. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
