A charming little basket made from English sterling silver with an all over pierced or reticulated floral and foliate design with a central cartouche to both back and front.

The original Bristol blue liner is intact and undamaged.

The silver is full hallmarked for the highly collectable Chester assay office and the year 1900, late Victorian in era. The makers mark is also present for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" tall or 3 3/4" tall to top of handle while upright 3" x 1 3/4".
