Antique English Silver Plated Breakfast Cruet
A fabulous and unusual Victorian breakfast serving set. Usually these are simply egg cruets, this one however has it all.
The shaped stand sits on four bun feet and in addition to the three egg cups, it has a integral toast rack each side, a glass butter dish with butter knife, open salt with spoon, pepper pot and mustard pot. There are two small hooks to one side to rest the butter knife.
The glass pieces are all in excellent shape as is the silver plate on the stand. There is a full mark for the Sheffield silversmith, Mark Willis, this particular mark used between 1872 and 1885, so a true Victorian example.
A real find, in excellent condition. 12 1/2" x 6 3/4" x 10" tall to top of handle.
