A lovely, early 18th century antique elm box, in solid pale elm.
This low English antique coffer is in very good, solid condition and is very original.
It stands on it's period bracket feet, inside is a lidded candle box and unusually, this antique elm chest has it's original locking plate.
A very unusual size, low and long makes this antique elm box quite appealing , we all fell in love with it!
English and dating from around 1720/30.
