Antique Edwardian Walnut Tripod Plant Stand c.1910
A small Edwardian walnut plant stand, the hexagonal top carved with floral decoration on a textured ground around a plain circular reserve, raised on three shaped legs united by a hexagonal undertier with an incised floral motif.
A charming stand reflecting the Anglo-Japanese decorative influence popular in English furniture in the early 20th century.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear and patina consistent with age and use, including visible wear to the central reserve of the top from long practical use as a plant stand. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
