Superb Large Edwardian Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum in the Regency Style and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with dental moulding above a cross banded frieze and two full length panelled doors with moulded edge to the panels and with one long drawer to the base which is ash lined. Internally there are four sliding mahogany trays to one side (these could be removed for more hanging space) above three drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles and to the other side there is a hanging rail for full hanging space.
A most unusual feature of this quality wardrobe is the side panels which is a panelled door with brass escutcheon and opens to reveal a hanging rail and original hooks for further hanging space.
It stands on ogee bracket feet and separates for ease of transporting.

A Superb wardrobe In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
