An elegant antique Edwardian mahogany tub chair mahogany with stringing to the legs, arms and front seat rail. The back comprises 5 splats which alternate 3 plain ribs with gothic arch design. The back sweep round to the arm supports and its stands on tapered legs culminating in spade feet. It has been newly re-covered in a cream brocade fabric with a self-pattern of flowers and leaves.

Scratches and marks commensurate with age. Solid and sturdy. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is sound. An old mend to the seat top rail.
