Good Oak Wainscot Chair Monk`s Table

A good oak monk’s table with original timbers throughout.
This is a beautiful side table with a lovely rich colour and patination which can easily convert to a chair, the top pivots up to form the back panel of the chair.
The oak cut to reveal the feathery and gleaming medullary rays. The arm supports carved in the Elizabethan manner and the table very solid and robust throughout.
A well made and practical example, possibly 17th century with later 19th century carved elements.
Dimensions are:
When folded down into a table – 32 inches wide, 32 inches deep and 30 inches high.
When folded up as a chair – 20 inches wide, 18.5 inches deep and 49.5 inches high.
Floor to seat is 17.5 inches.
For metric please multiply by 2.5 I describe and photograph my pieces accurately and with the aim that on arrival each will exceed expectations.
I operate a full refund guarantee and am always happy to give free, honest and friendly advice.
