An elegant antique Edwardian mahogany inlaid bedside cabinet comprising a drawer over a cupboard. There is satinwood banding to the top and drawer and the cupboard door has a central oval design of a Greek urn. Inside is a furnishers/makers label which reads "E.Archer & Co Cabinet Makers and Upholsters Bradford". The back is made of panelled oak and inside it has a shelf. A high quality and useful piece of antique furniture that could be used a s bedside cabinet, hall cupboard or storage unit.
Construction/Wood
Mahogany. Inlay and banding - probably satinwood.
Condition Report
Nice age and colour to the mahogany. Scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Small areas of banding missing to top corners and drawer corners (see photos). The handles are replacements (mark to the front door where old handle used to be)
