This is an antique display bookcase. An English, mahogany glazed two-door book cabinet, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
A pleasing example of period craftsmanship, ideal for presenting favourite titles or treasured ornaments
Select mahogany stocks displaying fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Attractive figuring to the top, presenting as an ideal display or lamp surface
Tiered crown moulding projects confidently above the whole, adding architectural presence
Pair of glazed doors provide a bright window onto the contents
Dressed with a working lock to the right-hand door — key present
Doors open to reveal three removable or height-adjustable shelves, each with a useful 22.5cm depth (8.75'')
