This is an antique decorative tea urn. An English, silver plated teapot, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Elegant tea urn with pleasingly bright finish - lovingly worn through the plate from decades of buffing
Displaying a desirable aged patina with light, natural tarnish commensurate with age
Quality, Sheffield silver plate has a clear, bright reflective shine
Hallmarks to base with the initials for John Turton & Co, Sheffield

Delightful buttercup pull to lid with detailed petals and leaves
Tall, globular body with ornate scrolled foliate motif and subtle golden colouration
Serpentine handle with graceful scroll ends and ivorine inlay opposite a dashing spout
Raised upon a tiered cylindrical base
