This is a smart Early 20th Century Silver Plate 3 Piece Tea Set showing an Art Nouveau influence. The set consists of a family size teapot with a bakelite handle and finial, a milk jug and a sugar bowl. Each piece has an oval base on four bun feet with two Nouveau style tapering darts on each side. There are no initials or personalisation of any kind.

There is no makers' mark on the three pieces but they are all stamped on the undersides of the bases with E.P.N.S for silver plate and Made in England. They date to the period around the 1910s/20s.

Condition is good with just a couple of small dents in the body of the teapot, a little plate loss to the base of the milk jug and the overall superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The teapot is 26cm / 10.2ins from spout to handle, 12.3cm / 4.8ins across and stands 15cm / 5.9ins high. The milk jug is 15.2cm / 6ins from lip to handle, 8.5cm / 3.3ins across and 9cm / 3.5ins high. The sugar bowl is 18.3cm / 7.2ins from handle to handle, 9.5cm / 3.7ins across and 9cm / 3.5ins high. All together the set weighs in at 774g / 27.3oz.
