This is an antique Chinese red lacquer long bench dating from around 1870. The bench has a good deep colour and nice patina to the solid timber frame and is traditionally constructed with peg jointing. This is in good original order and is firm of joint and quite sound. The bench is a characterful piece and has lovely glow to the lacquered wood.
The bench measures 160 cms in length 58 cms high by 34 cms deep.
