This antique Georgian style burr walnut long low chest of drawers, is a very useful item & would be ideal for placing a large T.V screen on top of. The top is burr walnut surrounded by a figured walnut cross banding. All the drawer fronts are a repeat of this & have brass plate back handles. They are also graduated in depth. This chest has canted reeded corners & it sits on bracket feet. The sides, base & the feet are all figured walnut. Whoever made this item had a very good attention to detail. It’s in good original condition. having just been French polished & dates to around the 1930-50’s period.
