A stunning antique bentwood settee, this is beautifully designed with a caned seat and back. This was made in central Europe & I would date it from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is very much in the style of Thonet, though it is not one of their known designs, the quality and style is easily as good.

This is in excellent condition for its age, we have had the ebonised frame cleaned & polished. The caning is also in fantastic condition for its age, it is all tight and strong with only one or two extremely tiny areas of damage on the seat, hardly visible but seen in the close up images.
