This is an antique bench dating to the turn of the century c.1900.

Raised on block section feet, this rustic pair of benches offer stable and generous seating and a nice alternative to dining chairs in a country kitchen.

Traditionally pegged with triangular brackets, the typical through mortice joints add interest to the solid plank seats.

The underside of the seat is carved with the initials "VPO".
