Antique Arts & Crafts wall shelf Probably Liberty antique arts and crafts arts crafts %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is an Arts & Crafts walnut hanging shelf c1880-1900.  It is most likely Liberty, its the right design with the famous Liberty club motif to each end twice.  A great little piece we were lucky enough to find in London as you would expect.  It has an asymetrical design with offset shelf dividers and an ornately arranged back rail to the top with a turned gallery section.  A lovely piece, there is a slight chip to the back which doesn't detract, please see pics. The pic of the back chip can be see at our own website.
