This is a late VIctorian Arts & Crafts Oak chest of three drawers c1880-1900.  It has an exaggerated top with side supports following the Scottish influence after 1885 with the rise of the Glasgow four and Glasgow school which filtered down into antique furniture designs.  It is raised on a plinth base with quadrant moulding to the top of the plinth.  The drawers have solid oak linings and are graduated.  The top also has a quadrant moulding to it with flying butress supports exaggerating the top.
