Fine French antique marquetry drop leaf occasional table having an outstanding fine marquetry, satinwood, walnut, boxwood, kingwood and black lacquer inlay framed within a kingwood cross-banding and boxwood stringing. It boasts four shaped drop leafs with good quality brass edging which can be raised independently from each other, supported by four elegant reeded turned legs with brass mounts and joined by a cross stretcher with a brass finial to the centre.

A splendid example of French design and craftsmanship of this period. The colours and proportions being marvelous.
