An Anglo Indian carved hardwood elephant coffee table dating from the late 19th. / early 20th.Century. The circular top having a carved elephant to the centre with floral carved edge. The table is supported on 4 carved elephant heads with bone tusks and their trunks forming the legs. The strengthening cross stretchers joined in the centre by a small turned bowl overseen by stylised cobra snake heads. In good overall condition with 1 or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…20.5’’/ 53cm. Diameter…16’’/ 41cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £48.
