An unusual 17th century style oak coffer, constructed in the 19th century using earlier 17th century elements.
The coffer has a multi - panelled fascade all the way round , including the lid. The bottom boards inside have been replaced with a single board at some stage. The chest has a superb colour and comes with a working lock and key.
