An Oak Joint Coffin Stool
This a good Oak Joint or Joined Stool often these came in pairs and were originally intended to be used in the family home at sad time of a funeral hence the name.
This is a good solid stool, dating from the 19th Century with a good colour and with a lovely patina, the legs are slightly splayed and the sides have a carved decoration it makes a great occasional stool, or even a small side table
The stool is 22” high, 19” wide and 12” deep
