Measuring approximately 5 feet x 50" x 24" (width, height, depth0 and with a seat height of 17"
A rare and very decorative piece of good, manageable proportion.
Raised on baluster turned legs united by stretchers. The shaped and downswept arms resting on baluster turned uprights flanking a boarded oak seat.
The uprights with scrolled terminals and cross hatching.
The backboard with 3 panels carved with impressive S scrolls, inverted flowerheads and punch work decoration. The 4 lower panels carved with definitive lozenge and fluttering pennant decoration.
Sold in good solid antique condition with wear and imperfections commensurate with age.
