An Art Deco Oak Sideboard Sideboard Art Deco Arts Crafts %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Dating to c.1930, this sideboard is in the Art Deco style and yet retains an Arts & Crafts feel through the use of well-figured, solid oak in its construction. Of simple design, it is enlivened by stepping to the top, the plinth and between the central and flanking sections. The central cupboard has a large cutlery drawer and a shelf and the side cupboards each have a deep drawer and shelves. The drawers are dovetailed and have solid oak linings. The shelves are plywood.
