Amboyna & Ebonised Octagonal Centre Table Table Centre Amboyna %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A quite superb quality Victorian amboyna and ebonised centre table, of octagonal form. The top is in eye-catching wild grained amboyna (quarter veneered on to tight grained mahogany for extra structural integrity) with a Tunbridge ware banding and ebonised edge, raised on four fluted ebonised legs with brass collars, incised and gilded carving, and terminating in brass castors. The legs are united by an amboyna veneered and ormolu beaded cross stretcher with ornate central carved urn finial.

Width 42” (107cm) Depth 42” (107cm) Height 29” (74cm)

Condition and Details of Restoration
This table is in original untouched structural condition and completely sound. The polish has been re-finished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some extremely minor old marks underneath the polish we feel the photographs are representative.
