This stunning Victorian period gilt oval mirror has the most amazing design with fabulous scrolls of swept acanthus and hanging fabric pennants as well as harebells and multi floral and leaf detail throughout. The mirror is of a quite grand scale and the ornate detail is in truly remarkable original order bearing in mind the age and fragility of the piece.The mirror retains its attractive original gilding throughout and its original mercury glass plate which is very good useable antique condition with only minor ageing to the glass. This is a very imposing piece which makes a great impact in any situation.
The mirror measures 136 cms by 92 cms overall to the extremities of the piece.
