We are offering for sale this little jewel of a watercolour by the Italian artist ALBERTO TREVISAN, who has signed the painting in the lower right hand corner. The painting is a view of The Piazzetta in Venice, with The Doges Palace to the left and the island of San Giogio Maggiore in the distance.

There is no biographical information about this artist available in our reference books as he is Italian, but his auction results and examples of his Venetian paintings are available on artprice.com (38 listings), findartinfo.com (20), arcadja.com (15) and artnet.com (11).

The painting is double mounted in two tone to complement and is framed in a 1" reeded gilt frame to suit. It is ready to hang.
