The tooled leather and satin banded top of this 19th century walnut desk is set above four drawers to the front, the top right being fitted with pen trays and inkwell compartments. The kneehole is edged with superb carved fretwork. The legs are beautifully turned and carved in the aesthetic manner and terminate with the original brass casters. The desk is fitted with dummy drawers to the back, enabling it to free stand in the centre of a room.

The condition is very good, the desk is a lovely warm, mellow colour and stands well.

This is a very high quality desk that will add impact and character to any room.
