Aesthetic Movement Ebonised Sideboard c1870
We have for sale a stunningly decorative Victorian ebonised Aesthetic Movement sideboard dating to around 1870.
This rather striking sideboard consists of an upper half consisting of central ebonised and gilded ornate mirror flanked on either side by a shelf over side mirrors all over a base consisting of ebonised gilded open shelves on turned ebonised and gilded supports around a central cupboard decorated with ebonised gilded detail around a central ebonised circular panel depicting a blue tit perched on the lower tip of a floral inspired letter C against a gilded background.
The sideboard is 48 inches (122cm) long, 70.5 inches (179cm) high and 17 inches (43cm) deep. The sideboard is in a good to very good original antique condition commensurate with around 150 years of careful use.
