Aesthetic Movement Ebonised Chair
An Aesthetic movement ebonised chair, c1881. Unusual ebonised frame, circular pad to the back with decorative back support , circular padded seat. In excellent condition, recovered with handprinted Andrew Martin velvet fabric. It has a Christopher Dresser look about it, but was made by one of the larger London antique furniture makers of the same era.
