aesthetic movement / arts & crafts wardrobe by renowned edinburgh cabinet maker john taylor (an appointed cabinet maker to queen victoria ).
the ornate flared cornice over base which is unusual having a central mirrored door plus a smaller door, all with fabulous large ornate brass hinges and opening to interior fitted with three pull out sliding tray shelves over two short and one long deep drawer with brass handles plus hanging space (brass rail and hooks )with blue silk lining which although is marked and worn in places, is the original fabric but could be removed or replaced as required, standing on shaped plinth base with decorative carved details, this really is a stunning wardrobe not done justice by the photographs. some marks and scuffs comensurate with age but this eye catching wardrobe is in overall very good condition, a good quality piece by a very good maker.
