Splendid mid 19th.c. adjustable combined reading or music stand and side table by the acclaimed British makers Maple & Co. c.1870. Mahogany book holder with brass page stays over a 15″ circular table with moulded edge. On brass arm and column with turned finial and heavy cast iron base on pot castors. Book stand and table are both are independently height adjustable and the angle and horizontal position of the book stand can also be adjusted with a screw below. Excellent condition with original maker’s badge to the rear. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
