A William IV Mahogany window seat or hall bench, on turned "tulip" legs with panel recessed rails and turned patera. The one piece seat bordered on each end by molded bolsters. 500mm high, 1250mm wide and 300mm deep. Circa 1835. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
