A very large, early 20th century art gallery bench, similar to benches found in The British Museum. Constructed in Iroko, the bench stands on waisted end supports with stop fluting and panel ends, the top is one single piece of timber. In very good condition. 470mm high, 1880mm wide and 460mm deep. Circa 1920. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
