Standing on a beautifully carved base of unusual form, with cabriole legs and scroll toes and "trumpet" column. The top has a cross grain molded edge and is inlaid in an intricate radiating pattern using a variety of woods including rosewood, satinwood and partridge wood. In very good condition. 630mm diameter and 760mm high. Circa 1860.
