A superb late 19th Century trunk, constructed in highly decorative Amboina and with a camphor interior, the trunk was made in the far East for the European market. 520mm high, 1180mm wide and 620mm deep. Circa 1890. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
