For sale today we have this superb pottery plaque by the Compton Potters' Art Guild. A gorgeous piece of Arts & Crafts pottery to a design by Mary Seton Watts. St Michael the Archangel is depicted wearing full plate mail armour with his flaming sword in his left hand pointing downwards while his right hand holds the scales of justice above his breast plate. A nicely potted example that has been painted very well.

Measures 18cm tall x 11cm across. Bears an impressed Compton Pottery Guildford stamp to the underside.
In excellent condition as shown.
