A superb Victorian Burr Walnut Safe Cabinet in the form of a Wellington chest, having 5 false drawers from the top that mask a cupboard door and one full length working drawer to the bottom, all retain the original high quality Chubb locks, keys, turned walnut handles and brass escutcheons, the whole raised on a plinth base. The cupboard door opens to reveal a cast Chubb Safe, which retains the original key. Wonderful condition and colour to this rare piece of antique furniture. Circa 1860
