A superb mid 19th century, breakfront, burl oak library bookcase. Of impressive proportions and desirable low waisted form, the bookcase stands on a plinth base and has four cupboard doors with raised and fielded panels. The upper section with adjustable shelving boarded by recessed pilasters which are topped with carved corbels. Atop is a molded cornice and the whole is in very good and original condition and with a fine colour and waxed patina. 2430mm high, 3050mm wide and 390mm deep. English. Circa 1860.
