A small 17th century carved oak plank coffer, having a carved front and sides depicting foliage.
The coffer retains its original iron work and has a superb untouched patina. Some old traces of woodworm and losses to the moulded edge at either end of the lid, commensurate with age.
Overall the coffer is in excellent condition.
