A Rare Miniature Jug by Martin Brothers Pottery
For sale today we have this rare miniature stoneware jug by the Martin Brothers Pottery, London. A small Arts and Crafts inspired jug that features an intricate design of swirling leaves and stems with bright blue flowers set against a textured ground. The "D" handle has a stylised leaf terminal to the base.
Stands 8.5cm tall. Incised to the base Martin Brothers, London + Southall, dated 4-1893. Minor flaws to the neck rim otherwise in superb condition.
Stands 21 cm tall. Marked to the base- RW Martin Bros, Southall, London, 6-85. In superb condition being free from any damage or repair, guaranteed.
