For sale today we have this absolutely stunning early William Moorcroft Silver Lidded Pot. The pot is well decorated with an exceptionally crisp version of the Pansy on mottled green pattern. Featuring dramatic Yellow, Purple and Blue Pansy flowers with further budding flowers and verdant green foliage tall. Finished off beautifully with a planished, hallmarked sterling silver collar and lid by Henry Mathews.

Stamped Moorcroft, Burslem along with a full handwritten W Moorcroft signature in Green. Measures 4" tall.

In superb condition being free from any damage or repair. The lid has been engraved with the name "Sybil", most probably a gift that, given the condition, has been treasured over the years!
