A good quality 19th Century walnut pedestal desk. Standing on plinth bases with nine, mahogany lined, burl walnut drawers with original two pin locks and later penny ring handles. The top has a molded edge, burl walnut banding and old vellum green leather inset writing surface with gilt tooling. In very nice condition. 770mm high, 1220mm wide, 700mm deep and the knee hole is 620mm high and 460mm wide. English. Circa 1850.
