A mahogany Glasgow School wardrobe. In all probability this piece was designed for Wylie And Lockhead by George Logan.There are two inlaid styalised thistles on either side of the mirrored door. There are both Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau influences in the design of this wardrobe. The top is all hanging space beneath it is a central drawer with a small cabinet on each side. The handles are a pale brass metal pendants with an ablone shell medalion inset into each one. The wardrobe come into 3 pieces - a top cornice, the hanging space and the base.
