Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....
Standing on turned feet, the wardrobe has 3 plinth drawers which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have their original knobs.
To the left hand side of the wardrobe there are 4 shelves fitted, while to the right hand side there is a horizontal hanging rail fitted.
This is all enclosed with 3 doors complete with working locks but odd keys. The central door has a solid panel with applied carving. The 2 flanking doors have solid panels with 2 glazed panels to the top. The glass is original and is in good condition with no cracks. This is further complimented with a simple ogee moulded cornice......
This is a lovely piece of German antique furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures
63 inches wide / 65.25 to outside of cornice
23.5 inches deep / 24.75 outside of cornice and 21 inches internal
77 inches high.
