A Large French Refectory Table, Table Monastère

This is a great piece in both looks and Quality, it is a Very Heavy Solid Country Table, a refectory table from Brittany, the top is made from 2” thick planks. The table has been hand made and has iron rods running through to give maximum strength to the plank top The table is a typically French style known over there as a Monastery table, the table legs and feet are 5.5” thick and it has a 5” wide carved stretcher

The table has a good smooth finish with little sign of wear, it is sound and does not wobble, and it would be possible to dismantle it for ease of access, a superb country piece and will stand up to no end of use
The table is 83” long, 31” wide, 30” high.
