A Large Architectural French Cast Iron Cross, Crucifix

This Magnificent antique cast iron cross comes from a church yard in France.
The crucifix is decorated with scrolls, there is a starburst aura around the figure of Christ and a Scull and Cross Bones near the bottom. On crucifixes, sometimes the crossed bones are under the cross to denote Golgotha (Calvary) or the place of skulls where the crucifixion took place
The Cross would have been made about 150 years ago and it is very is heavy, it is not damaged but it is has a weathered patina as you would expect
A decorative architectural treasure which could be used outdoors or in,
The overall size of the cross is 59” high x 34” across
