A Heals golden oak single bed
A single bed made by Heal & Son in the late 1920's. The very pretty head and foot boards are made of golden quarter-sawn oak. The bed sprung mattress base is amazingly well made. A young person could use this bed as a trampoline without the danger of damaging it. The mattress base is a patented device, if it is used one way up it is softly sprung if used the other side up it is firmly sprung.The condition is excellent. The bed is sold without a mattress.
The beadstead is 92cm wide x 202cm long.
The headboard is 115cm high and the footboard is 61cm high.
Mattress size 180cm/6 feet x 90 cm/35.5 inches.
