A fine quality Georgian Mahogany Chest of drawers, having a moulded top, the top two drawers overhang the following 3 long graduated drawers of which are flanked by tapering pilasters with caryatids brass lacquered capitals. The whole raised on beautifully carved gadrooned bun feet. The drawers all Mahogany and Cedar lined, retaining the original intricate lacquered swan neck handles. Wonderful colour and high quality figured Mahogany used throughout. Circa 1825
